About West Valley Medical Center

The 150-bed West Valley Medical Center is located in Caldwell, Idaho – part of the scenic Treasure Valley. The hospital is a member of the MountainStar Healthcare network of hospitals, clinics and outpatient centers across the western United States. 

West Valley Medical Center is the third-highest-rated hospital in Idaho, according to Core Measures data from the fourth quarter of 2008. The hospital also received the following pulmonary care recognition from HealthGrades for 2006-2008 data:

  • Best in the Boise-Nampa region for pulmonary care
  • Ranked among the top 5 in Idaho for pulmonary care
  • Five-star ranked for treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
